Paola Gianturco, Author of Women Who Light The Dark |
» |
Paola was the person who connected Michealene to Betty Makoni back in March of 2007. If it weren’t for Paola’s suggestion that Michealene hear Betty Makoni speak, TAPESTRIES OF HOPE would have taken a much different path. Paola Gianturco is the author of Women Who Light The Dark, among other books that focus on the amazing women around the world who are creating change. Betty Makoni and The Girl Child Network are featured in the first chapter.

Cinematical, the top blog covering independent film, makes a mention of the recent TAPESTRIES OF HOPE trailer on YouTube. From the post by Kim Voynar: |
While it's always fun to enjoy a big, effects-laden blockbuster or the latest rom-com at the theater, it's little films like this, driven by the filmmaker's passion for the project, that really speak to the dedication it takes to make a doc. like this. |
